🚑 Sending Your Child for Vaccines? Here’s What You Need to Know!

We’re happy to help your child stay healthy! If they’re coming without a parent or guardian, please keep these rules in mind:

  • Kids 12 and older can come by themselves.

  • Kids under 12 need to come with an adult—this can be a parent, guardian, trusted family member, family friend, or a sibling who is at least 16.

  • All kids 18 and under who come without a parent or guardian must bring a Consent/Screening form signed by a parent or guardian. The form also needs to include an emergency contact.

💰 Worried About Cost? We’ve Got You Covered!
  • We accept all insurance, including Medicare and Nebraska Medicaid (but not South Dakota Medicaid).

  • No insurance? No worries! We have programs that cover all children’s vaccines and some adult vaccines for a donation.

  • If you can’t donate, that’s okay—you won’t be turned away!

We can’t wait to see you! Let’s keep our community safe and healthy together. 😊

If you don’t have insurance or your insurance doesn’t cover vaccines (like Christian Healthcare), NCDHD can still help! We are an approved provider for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Adults (VFA) Programs.

  • For Kids (Birth – 18 Years): VFC covers all recommended vaccines.

  • For Adults (19 & Older): The VFA program covers certain vaccines for adults. NCDHD tries to keep Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis), flu (during flu season), and COVID-19 available. However, supplies depend on funding and may not always be in stock.

📞 Call our office to check availability and to request other vaccines you may need!

💰 Cost? Just a Small Donation!

  • We ask for a donation of up to $19.82 per vaccine to help keep this program going.

  • Can’t donate? That’s okay! We will still vaccinate you, even if you can’t pay or can only give a few dollars.
